Also known as silver salmon, our wild coho is troll-caught in the Gulf of Alaska by a cooperative of multigenerational fishing families. With its orange-red flesh, firm texture, and delicate flavor, coho is prized for its cooking versatility. Its more neutral flavor, compared to wild king or sockeye salmon, makes it an ideal pairing with a variety of wines, including white wines, rosés, and lighter- to medium-bodied reds, like an Oregon Pinot Noir.
