Known also as tanner crab, our snow crab comes to you ready to thaw and enjoy. Their easy-to-crack legs can be opened with just your hands revealing sweet, delicate meat that turns snowy white when cooked. Each section or "cluster" consists of four legs and one claw, and a two-pound bag contains three to four sections. Harvested off of the coast of Alaska in the Bering Sea, live snow crab are kept aboard the vessel in holding tanks until delivered to shore.
